Just want to know which format of Deal or No Deal you enjoyed watching more.
I voted for the syndication version. Reasoning? Less time wasters, they only brought in game changers when necessary instead of all the time, and there was more interaction between the contestants and Howie - and the contestants themselves.
I should know all of this - remember, I attended a taping of the syndicated version when it was filmed in Waterford, CT.

Syndie! No annoying supporters' corner (at least I thought it was annoying), no gimmickry, just the game.

With Deal Or No Deal having a special Christmas Eve marathon on GSN next week I thought this would be the perfect question to ask. Nearly every time I watched Deal Or No Deal I noticed that they would retire old models and put new models in their place each season. Was this to make Deal Or No Deal better each season or was it because to add new flavor to the show. Take for example in Season 2 Sonia Vera was suitcase model #25 was replaced by Hailey Marie Norman and also in Season 2 of Deal Or No Deal Lanisha Cole who was suitcase model #15 was replaced by Brooke Long and then after April Scott left the show Pilar Lastra held suitcase #14. Why was this done each season on Deal Or No Deal?, Kelsey

I just saw the first ever advertisement for GSN's Deal Or No Deal Marathon today and it is actually named Deal Or No Deal's Happy Howie-Days Marathon and will begin 6AM-to 9PM Christmas Eve and it feels great to see Deal Or No Deal on GSN again and it makes me think that if this marathon is a hit GSN will think about bringing Deal Or No Deal back to their lineup, Who's gonna watch this marathon?,

Yesterday I got up extra early to see this marathon and I am so glad GSN brought Deal Or No Deal back for a short time and it was so cool to see Howie Mandel again and this marathon made me so happy to watch. The only drawback is that the marathon seemed to focus on the final episodes of Deal Or No Deal and I thought GSN would show every Deal Or No Deal episode made. Why did GSN select the final episodes of Deal Or No Deal for this marathon rather than show every episode of Deal Or No Deal?, What did you think of the marathon?, Kelsey

A long time ago when the syndicated version of Deal Or No Deal was gonna be made I read a rumor that when Deal Or No Deal was being made for syndication Arsenio Hall was gonna replace Howie Mandel as host but when Arsenio declined the job Howie Mandel became the host and I would like to know if the rumor was true or not?, Kelsey

When I would watch Deal Or No Deal I used to see a model who held Case #24 named Meghan Markle who replaced Nancy but then in the middle of the season Meghan Markle left Deal Or No Deal and was replaced by Kelly Brannigan and I would like to know the reason why Meghan left Deal Or No Deal? I do know that the models had to sign a contract with NBC to sign up to be case models on Deal Or No Deal in an exclusive contract. And I knew that Meghan Markle was the second model to quit Deal Or No Deal and the first famous model from Deal Or No Deal to do this was April Scott and she went to do movies, What's the story behind this Deal Or No Deal gossip, Kelsey

With the news that the syndicated version of Deal Or No Deal has returned to GSN how did you like it when you first saw it? I was pretty amazed with it the first time I saw it and I thought it was very awesome and Howie Mandel was so great and the syndicated version bought more action to Deal Or No Deal with the addition of the Deal Wheel which determined which contestant was chosen to play. It's really a shame that the syndicated version of Deal Or No Deal lasted only two seasons because I really liked it and maybe if GSN sees how successful the syndicated Deal Or No Deal reruns do in ratings maybe GSN will revive Deal Or No Deal in the near future, Kelsey

Even though the theme weeks began to become a little excessive, I'll still take syndie DoND over the NBC version. It was more about the contestant and the game. The way it should be.

I fell in love with the syndicated Deal Or No Deal when I started seeing it for the first time during a business trip with my father and our hotel had a TV with a channel that had it and I was so shocked at how well they were able to make a pretty good version of Deal Or No Deal for syndication and so for the two days that my father was on his business trip all my mother and I would watch was Deal Or No Deal every night but the real shocker came was just when we had returned from Dad's business trip we heard the news that Deal Or No Deal's syndicated version was cancelled and we were surprised because we had just enjoyed it. And Patricia Kara and Tameka Jacobs were just so amazing as the models on the syndicated version of Deal Or No Deal that operated the Deal Wheel. Why was Tameka Jacobs one of the top Deal Or No Deal models chosen to appear on the syndicated Deal Or No Deal? Because although she was great Claudia Jordan would've been an awesome choice to appear on the syndicated Deal Or No Deal to be with Patricia Kara. And Howie was so fun in this version of Deal Or No Deal that I think had this version of Deal Or No Deal would've have been a chance for Howie Mandel to show off his game show hosting talents a lot more. But even though it had a short life Deal Or No Deal's syndicated version was really cool and i'm happy now that GSN is showing it again, Kelsey

I have been noticing that GSN is now showing both seasons of the syndicated version of Deal Or No Deal and seeing this surprised me because I thought when the syndicated Deal Or No Deal debuted on GSN they were only gonna show the final episodes that were made but now that I found the debut season episodes of Deal Or No Deal this is really shocking to me, Did GSN get Season 1 of the syndicated version of Deal Or No Deal as well?, Kelsey

When I was watching Frasier on Hallmark Channel I saw a preview for a movie called Sparks Flying that stars Meghan Markle and I'm just curious if it's the same Meghan Markle who was briefcase model #24 on Deal Or No Deal. Because I never knew that Meghan Markle was a wonderful actress. Is Deal Or No Deal model Meghan Markle doing movies for Hallmark now that Deal Or No Deal's no longer on the air?, Kelsey

I see she's guest starred on a bunch of shows before that and now is on the USA Network show Suits. Her IMDB page: www.imdb.com/name/nm1620783/

Wow sounds like Meghan Markle has a terrific acting career. Now I know why Meghan Markle's career took off after Deal Or No Deal was cancelled because she was so nice on Deal Or No Deal. Hope we hear more about Meghan Markle in the near future sometime. Thanks for your great reply Wild JackMonroe, Kelsey

Today not only is Labor Day but a very special milestone in Deal Or No Deal history, On September 1st 2008 Deal Or No Deal fans got to see Jessica Robinson become Deal Or No Deal's first million dollar winner and I remember it well because everybody was talking about how Jessica might win the million dollar prize. I didn't see the episode at the time because I was watching Flashdance and I was just into the exciting part of the movie when my Dad told me to turn on the TV and see Jessica Robinson play Deal Or No Deal but the next morning when I woke up my mom told me that Jessica was a millionaire because she had heard the story on the news, Does anyone remember when Deal Or No Deal made history on this day?, Kelsey
