The first ever advertisement for Skin Wars Season 3 debuted this morning during Catch-21 and it mentioned the start month as January 2016 but didn't say when in January Skin Wars starts again, Kelsey

What doesn't make sense in season 3 of skin wars is that otto was eliminated when Hans willingly eliminated himself, should Otto have still been eliminated if a contestant dropped out during the elimination stage?

I think everyone should get a fair chance. If someone drops out... Move everyone else on to the next round. Call it a day. You've got a point.

I did view this episode with the double-elimination. I do agree with your 'fair chance' that it would have been a positive twist to see Otto stay after Hans dropped out! At some point, there will likely be one episode where no contestant gets eliminated, or else at the current rate they would only have two contestants remaining in the finale (when three is preferred in Skin Wars, Steampunk'd, etc.). But I have heard from producers that the judges already made up their minds on who should be eliminated in that episode at the time of filming.

But if someone drops out pre-elimination, there's no need to eliminate someone else at the same time. Think of other reality shows: Survivor med-evacuations will remove a player and there's no need for a tribal council. Big Brother's had a few moments where someone would be kicked out of the game and that week is just done. Why bother eliminating someone from the game when someone else goes out before you were supposed to?

What you said is probably what should have happened in that episode.
