Let's not use some of those words, okay? I'm liking the "un-family friendly" idea. I'm not liking the r-word. Let's face the truth here, Fremantle made this once beloved classic into an adult-themed mess when Match Game is the only show that was allowed to do that. Let's take The Newlywed Game as an example. Someone tell me what company produced that show now. Sherri Shepherd's version was laced with "adult-themed" questions. It was that show, Baggage, and Love Triangle that were unbearable to watch. I don't understand how anyone would find that to be entertaining. The questions in Eubanks's version led to some very risque answers sometimes. Just saying...

I've held for years that $10 a point should be the standard. A game show host can do the math in his head. 159 points = $1,590. Piece of cake, right?
The second thing is: In that pilot episode, that Bob Jr. was an idiot. Ontario is a province not a city and fall as a sign of winter? Uh, dropping temperatures anyone?
He was lucky his sister was so smart.

Again back on topic, obviously any classic game show fan should know that is created by Chuck Barris and for anyone who would find that entertaining is for perverted people (and their is another "P" word that I wish that I would say but I won't say it here) but anywho, The Newlywed Game or any CB show for that matter were never "Family-Friendly" as were all for shock value instead of moral value but are you encouraging sir or madame that this version of Feud needs to have "Adult" content instead of being clean, classy and traditional like the other previous incarnations before it?

sorry aout the "R" word I don't which of the two or both "R" words you a referring but I apologize. "Retarded". I'm a little uncomfortable around that word, and a few of us would be as well, outside of myself. As for your question - I'm a woman, and I think that maybe one risque-esque question is fine. Having episodes filled with them is pretty much overkill. There is a reason that I wouldn't touch GSN in 2011-ish, and it's the same reason why I'm not going near Harvey's Feud.

This is why on almost every pilot out there the bonus round is won

▲ To expand on that idea a bit...
There are two kinds of game show pilots, ones that are clearly designated "NFB" (Not For Broadcast) and ones that are intended for eventual airing pending sale of the series. NFB pilots can, and usually are, subject to manipulation by the producers for the purpose of demonstrating specific aspects of gameplay that might be marketable (a big win, for example) for use in a sales pitch. Pilots that are earmarked for broadcast are subject to the same S&P rules and regulations as any other game show; an example of this kind would be the "pilot week" of the Jim Lange Name That Tume.

soobviously any classic game show fan should know that is created by Chuck Barris Minor correction of an understandable mistake: The Newlywed Game was no more created by Chuck Barris than The Price is Right was created by Mark Goodson. Barris purchased the format from Nick Nicholson and Roger Muir, a pair of producers whose résumé includes such short-lived entries as Pay Cards! (and its Super remake) and Spin-Off. IIRC, Nicholson and Muir were even given credit as Newlywed's creators during the ABC run. And can I please ask you to dial back your hatred of Steve Harvey just a few notches? Remember this is the sort of thing that eventually got you permabanned from the GSN boards. You're getting a fresh start here, and I'd hate to see you squander it needlessly by tilting at the same windmills that've knocked you off your horse in the past. I'm not saying you've gotta love the guy, but just... ease up a little bit, y'know? It's not healthy to hate someone that much.

Also the contestants on those not for broadcast pilots are usually paid a flat fee for 1 day of their time.

Well at least you know hat this isn't the version that we all know and love thanks to Fremantle's butchering of classic G-T shows we've all grew up with in the name of ratings and money (mostly the later I might add). Heck I still think that after the "chance to steal" part of the game, this idiot reveals answers (ala Family Fortunes-style) from right to left instead of left to right.

Listen, I'm just telling the truth about your "lord of the survey board" (which this fake pimp/playa is not)that's all. but since you don't want me to bag on "you-know-who" then let's bash the hell out of Joey F-A-K-E-tone on how he's is the crappiest FEUD announcer of all-time in the franchise, would you like that?

What I'd like is if you didn't do what you did on the GSN board and turn every single discussion you're involved with into a hatefest. Think you can manage that? Because if you can't, we're going to have... a problem.
Sometimes it's better to just pointedly ignore a subject rather than rant on endlessly against it.
