I added a few really blurry slates to the $100K page. If I can find a way to clean them up, I'll repost them.
In honor of the show's 48th anniversary coming up this week, I also finally added VTR dates to the remaining CBS $10K page and air dates for weeks 9-16.

Just saw this new information. You said Sheila MacRae & Peter Lawford had just four days listed. Were they trying to get back on track from Watergate? A skipping of an episode number seems very similar to how the 80's run was numbered.
I've also attempted to include the dates certain weeks were originally scheduled for, which I've just added.
We're still missing one preemption from the ABC run. The other 24 have been found. Someday... someday...

We're still missing one preemption from the ABC run. The other 24 have been found. Someday... someday... My guess is that they were indeed trying to get back on a Monday-Friday air schedule by shortening the MacRae/Lawford week, if they knew ahead of time about the preemptions on June 13th and 18th. The only note for that week is "#68 is skipped."
Ballpark, where do we think that the 25th ABC preemption might be located? (Or, if it's easier, when does the numbering system either start to deviate or get back on track?) I can do some newspaper research.

As far as the ABC numbering system goes, 1979 begins with Monday January 29 of that year, and ends with January 11, 1980. 119 episodes were taped in 1980, and aired from January 14 to June 27, with one preemption on March 27. Last one was #80-119/#1580.
I checked every date in the NY Daily News for 1979, and other than a preemption for November 23, I didn't find where the other one could have gone. It must have been last minute, and may have staggered some weeks as a result.
If there was one listed in a newspaper, then I must not have looked in enough of them.

One thing I noticed is that the numbers for the couples week are wrong. Episodes 1224-1228 were Susan Richardson and Tony Danza, according to records that I've seen. Maybe the two sets of numbers were reversed, for some reason.
As far as the number count, I'm actually having the reverse problem. When I factor in all the short weeks and 6-day weeks, I come up with only 1581 episodes, not 1582. Is it possible they counted the prime time episode that aired in 1979 among the official episode count?

I don't think 1580 or 1581 includes the Primetime Special, if that's what you're asking about.

Thanks to more cards from that autograph collector on eBay, I was able to add tape dates for the Jo Anne Worley/Cleavon Little and Liz Torres/Max Gail weeks of the $10K/$20K and episodes 13-18 of the syndie $25K to the Wiki page.

I think that's all the tape dates for Season 1 of the original $25K Pyramid, if I'm not mistaken. Someone had an autographed Freddie Prinze ticket, but only the back was shown. But he said it was September 27, 1974.

I'll dig more into the collector's eBay items (He has over 13,000!) and see if I can get answers for those and other sessions.

I'm hoping we can find enough 1974-1975 and 1976-1977 tape dates to determine what the ABC production numbers were. I only know the first weeks taped for 1974, 1976, 1978, 1979, and 1980.

I noticed on the Wiki that there are tape dates for episodes 25-30, 91-96, and 97-102. I know that tickets have been found for July 31, 1975, April 28, 1977, and May 23, 1977, but is there confirmation that those tickets are absolutely from those episodes' sessions?

I remember basing that on the autograph cards and tickets. Nice to see you added some more tape dates, including from the other "un-rerun on GSN" period of April-October 1987. Also, another thing: Photos from the ABC Soaps Tournament of May 1979 (incorrectly dated as 1975) just surfaced. I wonder what those small Pyramids on the desk were supposed to represent? Maybe how many games a Soap won? For example, I noticed Edge of Night (Terry Davis & Tony Craig) had none on their desk, then later on, they had two.

I'm not finding autographed cards that correspond to those dates. If you have any links, can you send them?
I lucked out with the April 1987 dates. Someone who was in the studio was able to confirm them.

Now that I think about it, I based that on how early or later it was in production of particular Season. It seemed like quite a while after the Dick Clark episodes were taped went by when July 31 rolled around. As for the other two, it was pretty early on, so that was why I had a feeling the first two batches had those dates. It's been quite a long while since I poked through those autograph cards on eBay, so my apologies if my memories were false that I got those tape dates from that. UPDATE: I went back and found this post. Though granted, you said it was speculation and not concrete evidence. gsparadise.proboards.com/post/47763/threadAlso, someone named MushyTomatoes8 added a tape date for Lois Nettleton & Dick Cavett for 1978.

Yeah, the 4/28/77 session does seem the likeliest candidate for episodes 91-96, based on seasons 3 and 5, but like you say, it's still an educated guess.
