Did some (minor) thread consolidation. Moved a thread about revivals to this AP thread here.

OK, get pyramidfan(Brendan) to help us out on this: What episode of the Shelley Smith & LeVar Burton week was it that had Lori vs. Kathy? IIRC from gameshowluvr86's YT upload, it was rerun on the week of April 20-24, 1992 on USA, around the time the Scrabble April 1987 Teen Week was rerun. Also, it was the last week before they forced the theme music to begin after the show's title flies down from the screen.

Just messaged Brendan on Facebook. It's the Tuesday episode.
Another thing I want to add: Thanks to a recent Twitch session by NickintheATL, it is confirmed that the Rita Moreno & Robert Pine week was taped on March 13, 1983.

Here's an interesting question I'll pose. What are some "undefeated" Winner's Circle subjects? That is to say, categories that popped up multiple times in the Winner's Circle, but no one ever guessed (or, at a minimum, no one ever guessed during the actual round)?
The example I'll give: I've seen at least three episodes with SOLD BY THE POUND, none of which saw it guessed during the 60 seconds. The only one close was the one where Keefe Ferrandini lost (12/1/87) - Shelley Smith ended up getting it only during the post-mortem. Keefe was giving good clues for it and I think Shelley would've had a good chance to get it, but they did not have the time to make it happen - only 7 seconds remained after having passed it at $250 and then coming back, but it only took the one more clue from Dick Clark afterward to get it.

Was THINGS THAT ARE PUBLIC one? Ilene Graff missed that one twice.

Hmmm. Could be? 2/5/88, which has the other "Graf" (and is the one where THINGS IN LAS VEGAS can be seen falling out) has it too.

Great question. I checked my records, and I found 11 categories that were seen on the Bob Stewart versions at least 10 times and were never guessed during the 60 seconds.
Bear in mind that I'm still missing 40-ish episodes from the Los Angeles versions and that my New York collection is pretty puny, so some of these categories might have been guessed on one of those unseen shows or they might have appeared more times than listed.
Here's the rundown.
14 times: THINGS THAT ARE SERVICED
13 times: INTIMATE THINGS THINGS SOLD BY THE QUART THINGS ON THE BOTTOM
11 times: SOLD BY THE POUND THINGS THAT ARE OBSOLETE THINGS THAT DEMONSTRATE
10 times: PERSISTENT THINGS THINGS THAT ARE CONFISCATED THINGS THAT ARE SALVAGED THINGS THAT ARE SCARCE

14 times: THINGS THAT ARE SERVICED 13 times: INTIMATE THINGS THINGS SOLD BY THE QUART THINGS ON THE BOTTOM 11 times: SOLD BY THE POUND THINGS THAT ARE OBSOLETE THINGS THAT DEMONSTRATE 10 times: PERSISTENT THINGS THINGS THAT ARE CONFISCATED THINGS THAT ARE SALVAGED THINGS THAT ARE SCARCE BOTTOM, SALVAGED, and I think CONFISCATED are ones I've actually yet to see even once - either that or they're buried deep in my memory banks of episodes I don't remember very well. (Possible I'm forgetting an instance of CONFISCATED, the other two I'm 99% sure I haven't seen.) Disregard, did see SALVAGED (followed by one with SERVICED), so yeah I clearly just don't remember these ones that well. OBSOLETE - another one with a post-mortem guess etched into my brain: Robin Riker receiving clues in the March 1988 tournament, OBSOLETE is what stopped Joyce Dixon from winning the 100 on Day 2, and Robin quickly gets it after on "an Edsel", much to everyone else's chagrin. QUART - a note on this one: an instance where it was guessed but the $250 was taken back because Martha Smith said "your milk bottle", and you don't buy "a quart of milk bottles". (100K, 10/8/87) PERSISTENT THINGS - I thought I'd seen that one guessed, but upon double-checking...no, that was post-mortem too. But in that instance (100K, 10/5/87), that too could've been gotten with more time (only 5 seconds left when it was time for that one). While I was checking around, a few more popped in my head: IT MAKES YOU TINGLE THINGS THAT ARE ISSUED THINGS YOU ATTEND THINGS YOU INITIATE (the one that kept Heather Davis from the 100K right before Denise Bumbliss won it)

Was THINGS THAT ARE PUBLIC one? Ilene Graff missed that one twice. It was guessed a few times. It's interesting that Ilene got all the categories but that one twice, because Michael Spound won $25,000 two different times with PUBLIC as the final subject.

She went on to see that category three more times in the next two years, and her partners never got the answer.
I've seen ISSUED guessed at least once, with Kris Mallory giving clues to Anne Bloom in 1986.
I saw ATTEND get guessed two times: once with Shelley Smith giving clues in 1986 and once with Baron Harris giving the clues to Clifton Davis in 1991.
To the best of my knowledge, INITIATE was only guessed one time: in the summer of 1986, with Markie Post.

Ahhh. I've only seen two episodes from the first tournament - the win, and 11/14 (not the one with TINGLE). And for ISSUED - I know Grigor has most of that week posted, I just haven't gotten around to it.

For issued, the best clues are:
A press release A bench warrant A newspaper (I hope that last one is OK by the judge)

1988 question: I notice on $100,000 that they brought back Susette Wright, originally on on June 9 but swept that day by Jenny Larson. She'd come back for the week of August 8-12 - at least I assume it's the entire week: I've only seen that Friday, but they refer to that as her last day.
Question being: What happened? Re-watching June 9, the only thing that stands out to be even close is, during the Mystery 7, as Jenny's describing "A WALLET", she says what arguably sounds like, "a man keeps this in his back pallet", with "pallet" pronounced like a rhyme of "wallet". They didn't cuckoo that, but if they had, the second game would have ended in a 20-20 tie.

They didn't cuckoo that, but if they had, the second game would have ended in a 20-20 tie. Susette (Suzette?) returned on August 9th. Her June 9th appearance counted as one of her five days.
I watched the June 9th episode again, and I agree with your assessment regarding WALLET. Ironically, Meg Bennett, Jenny's partner that day, was cuckooed for a similar rhyming spoonerism in December 1984, for saying "Little led" when describing RED RIDING HOOD.
Another possible reason for Susette's return happened in the very first category on June 9th: The judge didn't give her credit for HOMICIDE until the second time she said it, which was about one or two seconds later. Also, although I'm sure it didn't affect gameplay, in the same category, BAILIFF was misspelled.
