As per Buzzerblog, on 4/1, an hour of America Says from 11AM-12 Noon will begin airing weekdays, replacing Deal or no Deal and putting it on weekends only.

I have to admit, I've been hoping for fresh classics in April, but it turns out it's the same episodes of Match Game as usual. This sounds like an omen of what's to come. I am already sensing what's to come - Match Game eventually being phased off, and a schedule filled entirely with 21st century material.
Every reason for me to enjoy GameTV now.

The Classics Schedule has been on auto-pilot since September 2016. Time to jump ship to Game TV and Buzzr, and pray Buzzr strikes a deal with Sony.

Actually, it appears Deal or No Deal is gone from the schedule completely, as it is replaced on Sunday 4/8 with an hour each of Chain Reaction (Lane) and America Says.
Amazingly, that leaves only four non-originals on the entirety of the current schedule: Match Game, WOF, Family Feud, and Cash Cab.
9.5 hrs out of 20, non-originals on weekdays 10.5 hrs out of 20, non-originals on Saturdays 11.5 hrs out of 20, non-originals on Sundays (not including paid programming)
This leaves almost exactly 50% original programming on the schedule. And the non-originals comprise only 4 shows.

Lane Reaction has run almost continually since its last first run show almost 12 years ago.

Cash Cab is now relegated to weekends only as of a few weeks ago, so I imagine it will down to three non-originals for GSN soon. I don't see them picking up another season of WOF either, so by 2020 it could be down to only Match Game 70s and Harvey Feud as the only two non-originals on the schedule. Consider that they have three or four new original shows coming down the pipeline, including the reboot of Catch 21. And GSN turns 25 at the the end of the year.

The way things are going, with the same batch of episodes of Match Game having aired for three years this fall, I have a feeling that will be gone this fall, and WOF may follow suit soon afterwards, leaving only one non-original - Harvey's Feud. It seems as if Fran Shea is turning classics fans away from GSN, and the network will likely be flooded with originals across the board. But thank goodness those classics fans are turning to Buzzr, and for me, GameTV's retro block.

WOnder if GSN would consider picking up reruns of the 2016-19 ABC primetime game shows? Celebrity Name Game doesn't seem too likely at this point on GSN, and CHris Harrison Millionaire got relegated to weekends and then dropped.

That's the first full season without Janice and Kathleen. Rod is still announcing for a fair amount of that season, and was still shown on camera from time to time that season(IIRC it was the folllowing season Fremantle stopped showing him so much on camera) So if this it true, Barker and/or Fremantle doesn't have an issue with Rod episodes being shown at least. I'd have expected to see a Drew Csrey season on GSN over a Barker season. I'd also more expect to see TPIR on Buzzr than GSN. Yesterday was the 19th anniversary of the last TPIR airing on GSN.
