Yes, it's still a marathon, but it's not a true Clark Pyramid marathon ... That's all I'm gonna say.

Hey, let's not start an argument... Absolutely not my intent. Just stating an opinion is all. One final thing though, there's a Clark Pyramid marathon to me (mini or not), and then there's a true New Year's Eve Clark Pyramid marathon. Nonetheless I didn't mean to start a whole complicated thing here.

Switching gears here, I need the help of someone who has been closely following Eubanks Card Sharks on the network. What was the airdate of the most recent episode of this lease?

ScreenerTV reports that this morning's 9:00 a.m. airing has a CBS air date of December 1, 1987. So it is assumed that the most recent airing as of the time of this post was the November 30, 1987 episode.

Just turned on Card Sharks now. Although the episode as of this post on ScreenerTV displays the CBS airdate as December 1, 1987, I did hear Bob mention that the adults are back after Young People's Week, which means the 9:00 a.m. ET episode is actually the November 30, 1987 episode, and I might be missing an episode on my episode guide which requires some adjusting.

I meant the air date of the final episode in GSN’s current lease.

Also, I found out just now, after research, that there was an October 1987 episode that I forgot to add to the guide all along. It was Myrt vs. Lori, which aired on GSN last February. It's pretty clear that the CBS airdates on Screener were off by one, otherwise the 9:00 a.m. airing would not have Bob mentioning "the adults are back", which implies being a Monday episode.
The guide will be updated momentarily.

^ It is the January 22, 1988 episode. Ok. I saw on zap2it one of the late night episodes was dated January 19, 1988. I thought the lease ended a few episodes before that. Thanks!

And also, it turns out that there were likely only eight Christmas-decorated Card Sharks episodes aired in 1987. One site lists contestants for only eight episodes. GSN likely has all of them except for the New Year's Eve episode in the current lease of episodes, otherwise, we would have been seeing the first episode from Christmas week 1987 at 9:00 a.m. ET this coming Tuesday instead of 9:30 a.m. ET.
It sounds like the current lease has a total of 170 episodes, which started with Ep. 350, and if it is a rounded number of episodes, the last episode in the lease would have a production number ending in 9 assuming no skips. GSN has experienced no skips with Eubanks' Card Sharks due to faulty tapes or audio, or other reasons beyond GSN's control (a November 1988 episode was skipped in January 2005, but it was due to a Johnny Carson tribute, so that would be a one-time skip). So this could mean Ep. 519 - the December 30, 1987 episode - is likely the last episode in the lease, and all of 1987 will have been covered possibly except for the last episode, which may remain outstanding.

So this could mean Ep. 519 - the December 30, 1987 episode Bob Goen appears at the beginning of this episode to promote the premiere of Blackout on MOnday 1/4

From Game Show Follies.
"Each Saturday night beginning December 23, our little game show network will run a four-hour oldies block 7:00 PM-11:00 PM (Eastern time). The block for the first few weeks will be an hour each of Match Game, Press Your Luck, Jim Perry's Card Sharks, and Monty Hall's Let's Make a Deal. This is not just a holiday stunt, according to the accompanying GSN e-mail."
Very interesting

Very interesting. So much for the claim PYL will never come back to GSN because it and its 2002 revival were taken off at the same time.
