I am thinking the last marathon of Dick Clark's Pyramid on New Year's Eve was in 2013. I do remember, in 2015, maybe even 2014, GSN dropped holiday marathons for a while and on holidays it was the classics schedule as usual.

OK, so to get to important specifics, are both the daytime and the late night versions of Card Sharks w/Eubanks next week all Christmas episodes? Or are they regular episodes they've already aired?
About 2 years ago I recorded 4 Christmas episodes of Eubanks CS, I think they were from 1987, set was decorated and an old geezer in his 80's was a contestant in a couple episodes along with a cute blonde. I wonder if these 4 will be shown again? The big question is will different Christmas episodes other than these 4 be shown?

Those episodes you recorded two years ago were actually from Christmas 1986. The 80+ year old was Benjamin, and the blonde was Diane. These Christmas episodes were awesome.
The Christmas episodes this year all involve children aged 10 to 14 as contestants, and were originally aired in 1987. These episodes were last aired on GSN in 2003, if I recall, though i am not sure which month they wereally aired, but i do know it definitely wasn't January, February or March. I am thinking later in April or sometime in May. I'm definitely going to record them, and I suggest you do the same.
The Christmas episodes will be aired on GSN only in daytime, but not in late night.

Ahh, thanks for the response CSFan, very informative and useful. Yes, that's right the old timer's name was Benjamin, kept bragging about his young wife, when they showed her in the audience she looked to be in her 70's, I guess when you're 83 or whatever he was, 70's is young. Too bad the morning CS aren't going to be anything special. I recorded them this morning and I recognized them from my previous recording. Looks like they're skipping around though for the morning shows according to my Verizon cable box TV daily guide, I think I'll record more mornings just in case they put on something worthwhile.
I've never seen the '87 Christmas shows with the kids, should be a lot of fun. I never saw Card Sharks back when it was originally on, I was working then and the only game show I recorded (on VHS in those days) was Price Is Right. Unfortunately I would watch them and record over them, so only a few of those '80's PIR's are in my collection today, though I have some on beta tape with Johnny Olson. Got to get those transferred over to DVD "one of these days".

Friday:
9:00 a.m,: December 30, 1987 9:30 a.m.: December 31, 1987
All times listed are Eastern Time.
I'll have my DVD recorder set for those airings. These Christmas-decorated episodes have a holiday gift package offered on the seven numbered cards game. Among the prizes are his and hers Schwinn bicycles, a Magnavox VCR with remote, an Aqua Finn sailboat, an Apple computer, a Mikhail Darafeev bumper pool table, a Yamaha Clavinova electronic keyboard, and a trip for four to Hawaii.

GSN is showing Let's Make A Deal on Saturday night? I thought that CBS doesn't want GSN showing it.

I thought that CBS doesn't want GSN showing it. Well, I guess this debunks that theory. Next subject...

Monty's Let's Make A Deal is also on YouTube , at least CBS doesn't have a problem with it there or with any version of the show.

Alright, 1972 I've Got A Secret is on! I wish they would've featured more of these, but I'll take what I can get.

According to zap2it, the Saturday night episodes of Card Sharks with Jim Perry have airdates of January 2 & 3, 1980. Now I really hope this development lingers a few weeks.
Also, per the online GSN schedule, Wheel of Fortune gets a New Year's Day Marathon from 8:00am-2:00pm. That one show that nobody around here seems to like will air from 2:00pm-10:00pm. And I'm not sure if this will be a schedule change or not, but Who Wants To Be a Millionaire gets the 10:00pm hour. And latenights revert back to what they were previously.
