The race is on hold due to the rain and I don't think it will start before this episode of Battlebots is over. That's assuming it gets started tonight, which it probably will. At least NASCAR won't have to compete with Battlebots or the World Cup now.

The remaining 16 bots were seeded and will face each other NCAA basketball style.
The 2 seed Icewave just demolished the 15 rank Chomp. It will face #10 Ghost Raptor, who replaced its broken blade with a lifting arm and took it to the #7 Warrior Clan by disabling the spinner.
The #5 bot Stinger put on an impressive show against the #12 bot and wild card Warhead. That was entertaining to watch. Stinger will face #4 Bronco after it flipped and beat #13 Plan X in quick fashion.

Warhead once again gets into the spikes. Jesus Christ, why did it move on again?

I'm editing that post as the show goes on. That second fight was fun to watch. A lot of exciting moments.

I wonder what would happen if someone activates their robot right into the spikes... Would be weird. Meanwhile, this fight is just kind of "meh".

Rematch between Lock-Jaw and Overhaul! These two have some bad blood after the last fight. I'm surprised Battlebots would put these two together again right off the bat.

New episode starts in less than an hour. #9 bot Witch Doctor took it to #8 Overdrive in dramatic fashion. It dominated the whole fight and will face #1 Tombstone after it demolished #16 Radioactive.
#11 Overhaul was given a chance at redemption against the bot it lost to and won. It knocked out #6 Lock-Jaw and will now face #3 Biteforce as it survived a scare from #14 Hypershock. That bot was scary for a #14 ranked bot. It dominated the first half of the fight, but its motors burnt out and Biteforce advances as a result.

I had my mother watching the Witch Doctor/Overdrive match. She seemed interested in it.

Radioactive is such a pathetic robot. Good luck, Witch Doctor. Tombstone is no pushover.

Maybe Lock-Jaw should've lost the first fight instead because it just got wrecked badly.

Four KOs in the episode. Last one was getting good until Hypershock started to smoke.

Hypershock should've kept Biteforce on its back. It might not have been able to right itself if Hypershock had just left it alone.
