Looks like this show has been popular, for the third straight week it got the best ratings of the 3 ABC Sunday Night game shows according to zap2it.com, winning its time slot with nearly 8 million viewers.

Was NOT amused at the R-rated "Viagra" clue given to RO'D.
Call me a prude, but I would have told him, "We don't say things like that on THIS program." if I were the celeb.

On the plus side, the first $100,000 win happened. So it wasn't all bad. I was yelling pancakes at my tv during the 1st winners circle on the first episode. Didn't get to see the second half, but Al must be a heck of a clue giver

What was contestant Rob talking about when he said that Weird Al was part of January 14, 2001, the worst day of his life?
What was so bad about that day? What was "410"?

On the second half of last night's episode, there was Tony Hale Vs. Justin Long. Celebrity opponents on Pyramid of the same gender have been around since Jack Klugman and Tony Randall (of The Odd Couple) played against each other on the original $10,000 version in the Summer of 1973. Yes, there was actually a week like that.

Tonight's episode:
Good that there was the second $100,000 win given out. But bad that Game 2's Winner's Circle round during the latter half of the episode was brutal.

Just learned over on The $100,000 Pyramid Facebook Group that one game with Peri Gilpin & Ice-T was shelved by ABC. Anyone know why? WarioSajak

Well, season 3 has just started, and as I guessed it would, the opening started with a highlight of a recent big win, just like they used to do on Dick Clark's version.

On the second half of today's show, history was made when Jacob became the second-biggest winner in all of "Pyramid" with $150,000, surpassing Kris McDermot's $147,750 on the John Davidson version. Cheryl Reinwand remains the all-time biggest winner in all of "Pyramid", though, with $150,800.

Last week's episode was so much fun. I love Robbie Amell after seeing him on The Flash and The Tomorrow People and I'm glad to see him do so well on the show.
I'm surprised that that clue "prehistoric animals" wasn't zapped though. But other than that, great show. I'm enjoying this season as much as the first one. This version is exactly how you revive a show like this.

I learned on Facebook that Rita Moreno will be one of the celebs from the classic series for season 3.
Well, it's just one from the classic series, but that's better than nothing.

Rita's a regular on the Netflix version of One Day at a Time. At 86, I think she'll be the oldest celeb to play Pyramid. Betty White was 80 when she was on Donnymid in 2002.
