I've never seen Wordplay so that will be a real treat for me. I'm really happy to see Trivia Trap coming. It'll be worth getting at least those first 50 episodes with the superior format and most everything intact outside of ticket plugs (and hopefully they at least get that far). That being said I'm a bit disappointed that Double Dare is gone, especially right when they had started with Ray Winston's run plus there was the added question of what the deal was with those missing 30 or so episodes that GSN didn't air the last time it was on their lineup. I bet it'll come back though at some point. But Dream Maker being on the regular schedule??? Really, Buzzr?

At this point, a big part of my wants to see this "Dream Maker" show just to see how bad it is (or if I think it's as bad as everyone's saying).

Yeah as really Buzzr I hear is trying to avoid that of rerun abuse. Like that it doomed that of GSN. As help them to keep the new shows coming on up. Fixed it for ya. Even though I don't have Buzzr, I can't wait to see something fresh from Buzzr, even if via video sites. And that's an unintentional Nu Shooz reference. Dream Maker? No way.

If I'm not mistaken, Dream Maker had as many as 65 episodes before being cancelled. So, that's not a lot, if that's the case.

Anyone know who that mane named Ted is in the middle? That might be Brenda Vaccaro on the left (is it?), and I know that's Arleen Sorkin on the right.

Could that possibly be Ted Lange?
And yes, that kind of looks like Brenda Vaccaro

I've only seen one episode of Make the Connection prior to tonight. I thought Jim McKay did a fine job, but I really enjoyed Rayburn's hosting. This show is actually one of my favorite short lived ones.
Really looking forward to tomorrow night's plans.

Supposedly, Betty White appeared in all 13 episodes of Make the Connection. And as virtually every die-hard game show fan knows the June 19, 1955 episode of What's My Line? was her game show debut.

According to the episode guide, the panel was the same for every single episodes (excluding the finale). BTW, I think Mr. Mischief from Choose Up Sides would've probably given me nightmares as a kid. Might even do so tonight...

F**k my IPTV thing. Keeps repeating the same section of Family Feud credits and the Wordplay intro. Something out there hates me...
I know, life could be a lot worse.

Awful film look on the pilot for Wordplay. Same problem when GSN ran the All-Star Secrets episode and the Babble pilot three years ago. Thankfully, the series proper (w/Tom Kennedy) doesn't have this problem. It looks just like videotape SHOULD look. Smooth and fluid. So I can't complain too much here.
Sad note: The premiere week was one of Dick Shawn's final projects. He died four months later. He was 63.

There's also the repeats later tonight.
Really enjoying Wordplay though. Very excited for Trivia Trap tonight.
