...we can safely assume that Reilly has no problem clearing his Match Game appearances for future rebroadcasts. Well, considering that CNR has been dead since 2007, I don't see how he could really object.

I tuned in to Match Game 75 on GameTV this afternoon (it was from April 1975), and i noticed a familiar pattern. Among all of what GameTV aired in this limited run since June, none had Charles Nelson Reilly as a panelist. Considering that GameTV is re-airing the CNR week of Super Password from October 1984 this week, we can safely assume that Reilly has no problem clearing his Match Game appearances for future rebroadcasts. I don't think there's anything deep about this, really. They just happened to lease episodes from the time that Charles had taken a brief hiatus from the show. Nothing more to it.

Hi Folks, MG Productions here. I am in need of some help from some of our great fans and posters here on this board. I am in the process of remastering some of the copies of Match Game 76 on my channel. Some of my recordings came from VHS over the years. A few of the episodes I have posted are in need of some cosmetic surgery! LOL. Anyway, if anybody is able to help out with this project, you'd be a lifesaver. I'm all about great quality and preservation of all the episodes. This is the list of programs I am searching for. Here is the complete list of shows I'm going to try to remaster as best I can. Episode Numbers I don't have. 764: Pat Morita BS CNR Lee Meriwether RD PD 767-768: (These two shows are tough to find. Does anybody have them in good condition?) I still can hardly believe we found 968 and 1406.
I don't know if they were ever shown on GSN. '77 was first shown on GSN in 1996/1997-ish; '79, 2000-ish.

After skimming through an episode of The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour I downloaded recently, I was amazed that there seems to be Match Game questions containing 1980s pop culture, including a question about Mr. T, the famous tough actor from The A-Team - a show that was must-see TV in 1983.
It seems as if, every time Match Game gets revived, there seems to be newer questions referencing modern-day pop culture at the time. I read somewhere, possibly back in 2012, there seemed to have been a lot of questions referencing Bill Clinton on the 1998 version. I wonder if Alec Baldwin's Match Game has questions that reference Donald Trump?

In the later versions of Match Game, they tend to have political questions referencing the current president of that time. And yes, without being political here, Baldwin's version does indeed reference President Trump questions. Personally, I wish they would omit the political questions. Rayburn's dealt with Richard Nixon, Shaffer's with G.W. Bush, Burger's with Clinton, and now of course the new one with Trump.
BTW, what does your avatar represent of the girl with the blonde hair? If I were a cartoon character, I'd ask her out lol.

Of all the weeks of the show, Weeks #037 and #056 of the Daily Syndicated run are possibly the hardest to tell apart due to being in the same season and having the same exact panel lineup.
Basically the corresponding PM episode for the former was Barbara Vs. Tim.
Also, I believe they replaced the chairs later in the season.

An obscure Hanna-Barbera cartoon series that lasted only one season in the early 1970s. I agree, she's one cartoon character I would have a crush on.

I would have never guessed that in a million years since I hadn't even heard of that before. BTW, did you know dare2be they did a mini series of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl in 2016? We better not continue this discussion here or it will be moved to a new/different thread hehe.

Look closely at the end credits of 778/779 airing today on BUZZR. I am sure some of you know what I am referring to.
Looking at some of the recent responses here, I will need to look for Episodes 7 & 968 on MGP's YT Channel, especially since 968 was mentioned in the skips thread.

Sad MG77 rerun on GSN at 1:30, as they asked a hypothetical MG99 question using the premise that Gene Rayburn would still be hosting the show in 1999, the year Gene died for real.

Speaking of credits I have two inquiries here. First, during two episodes this week at the closing credits it stated that "The (previous) champion was declared to be ineligible and will not receive the prize money." That contestant was an African American named Britt. Does anyone know why that was the case? Had he been on too many game shows in a certain span? Did he have a felony?
Also I've noticed ever since Buzzr has shown fresh episodes of Match Game '76, we don't hear announcer Johnny Olsen say "Stay tuned for (name of show) next over most of these CBS stations" as it loops part of the MG theme right at that point. Is Buzzr omitting that for show purposes?
