I have that episode on tape from a 1998 airing, and Sandy won the $5,000 with Bobby Van. Would you be able to convert it to digital format? There is one on Youtube but it's very poor quality. I don't have the necessary software to do this.

There are free software like Imgburn and Vidcoder that would be helpful if you have the equipment to record from VHS to DVD.

Thanks for the link, it was great watching one of the skipped episodes!
Earlier this week, GSN skipped 1281 again, while BUZZR aired it again on 9/15/16 at 10:30 AM ET.

Well, as we know, GSN usually skips some Match Game episodes. So, here's what GSN usually skips. MG78 1309-1310---- David Doyle, BS, CNR, DS, NR, BW (on same tape as Valerie Bertinelli) 1311-1315-----Ed Asner, BS, CNR, Valerie Bertinelli, NR, PDA (Valerie Bertinelli Reason) 1316-1317----Greg Morris, BS, CNR, Barbara Rhoades, BD, FF (Valerie Bertinelli week on same tape) GSN is poised to skip these episodes tomorrow morning. The 8:00 AM episode is scheduled to be 1308, which would mean the 8:30 AM episode would be 1318, if the regular skip pattern holds.

Well, as we know, GSN usually skips some Match Game episodes. So, here's what GSN usually skips. I know a lot of these don't air, but they might. Either way, here's a helpful guide, which was created by someone else (and he [FACEO15] gets the credit). Here's what they are. MG78 1281-----DM BS CNR Lorrie Mahaffey RD JB (Don't know why this is skipped) Skipped by GSN in the last two cycles, but aired today (4/29/2016) on BUZZR at 4 PM! An interesting show. 1280 had always aired with Beverly White Wilson as the reigning champ, having just played the H2H Match at the end of the show. When 1282 aired, Donna Blodgett was the champ, having won one game, and so the logical conclusion was that Blodgett had defeated Wilson on 1281, and that something unfair had happened during the game, since Wilson was brought back and lost a game that was completed on 1319. As it turned out, 1281 started with a new game, Blodgett facing Madeline Drake, and GR explained that Wilson was unable to return due to an illness in the family. BUZZR aired Ep. 1281 again today at 4:30 PM ET.

MG77 935----Scoey Mitchlll, BS, CNR, Susan Sullivan, RD, BW (3/5/77) Skipped by GSN. 934 aired on Friday 10/7 at 8:30 AM, and 936 aired on Monday 10/10 at 8:00 AM. As far as what happened, Champ Julie Yeager had just completed the bonus rounds for her second game on 934. When 936 opens, GR explains that the champ had just won her third as time expired on 935 (likely with a tiebreaker round). This marks 935 a rare episode of MG7x without a Super Match or a H2H match.

Either way, here's a helpful guide, which was created by someone else (and he [FACEO15] gets the credit). Here's what they are. MG77 968----Tom Hallick BS DM, Mary Wickes, RD BW First of all, Most episodes guides have the Tom Hallick week as episodes 961-965. Second of all, last week on October 26, 27, and 28 GSN aired episodes 961-964. Episode 965 was skipped, somewhat bizarrely, for episode 78 of MG 90/91, which was the Halloween episode. GSN resumed the MG77 cycle on 10/31 with episode 966. Finally, as far as what happened on 965, 964 ended with New champ Chris Cranston having won $500 in the Super Match, and was scheduled to play the H2H match on 965. As 966 begins, Chris Cranston is still the champ, now with $1,200 total. This equates to Chris Cranston missing on the H2H match, winning another game and $500 in the Super Match, and then missing another H2H match. 965 ends with challenger Mike Garner ahead 1-0 after Round 1.

GSN aired the full week in '01, and according to my notes, Chris played the H2H with Richard Dawson both times on Friday.

968 was indeed skipped by GSN this week as well as 965 last week. So the OP had the episode # correct, but the celebs wrong. They are Ron Palillo, BS, Nipsey Russell, Tudi Wiggins, RD, BW. In the latest edition of "What happened on the Skipped Episode", we start by noting that 967 ended with challenger Meg O'Brien and one-time champ Linda Seay locked in a 0-0 tie after Round 1. As 969 dawns, we note that one-time champ Meg O'Brien has total winnings of $5,600. In the current game, she is trailing challenger Ron Curry 5-0, and the show will start with her second round question. So we can reasonably conclude that in 968, Meg O'Brien defeated Linda Seay, won $500 in the Super Match, and then won $5,000 with Richard Dawson in the H2H match. During 969, Dawson mentions that he had won $5,000 for Meg, which had to have been the H2H match on 968.

Either way, here's a helpful guide, which was created by someone else (and he [FACEO15] gets the credit). Here's what they are. MG77 1024-1025----Aug 1-5 GB, BS, CNR, Eva Gabor, RD, JB (only 3 eps. air) 1026-1030--- Aug 8-12 Adam Arkin, BS, CNR, EJ, RD, FF (skipped all) 1034-1035---------Aug 15-19 NR, BS, CNR, Suzanne Somers, RD, PD (last ep. skipped) Ono December 8th, 2016, GSN skipped episodes 1024-1030, right on schedule. There is a YT recording of 1034 that says in the comments that it was not skipped this cycle; I will confirm. In the latest edition of "What happened on a skipped episode", 1031 opens with Linda Tibbetts as the current champ, having already won two games, and $6,200. After each victory, she was able to twice win $500 in the Super Match. One time, she also won $5,000 in a H2H match. 1031 opens with the challenger leading 2-0 after one question from Round One was played on 1030. So it can be easily inferred that the champ had won at least one $500 Super Match on 1030.
