johnnyo , what was the reason they taped four episodes of MG76 with Don Sutton? Also, wasn't an episode number skipped between this week and the next week, but nothing was actually skipped per se? Finally, if you look at the guide for the PM version, you'll notice a non-corresponding panel on episode #057. Sutton's PM episode was #058. Presumably, PM episodes #057-#058 were taped the same day as the four daytime episodes with Sutton.

You are exactly right. Episode 850 does not exist, but episode 851 picks up where episode 849 left off. That week with Don Sutton has episode #'s 846-849, and the following week's episodes began with 851 to maintain consistency with the rest of the series. I have no idea why only four episodes were produced. You make a good point about the PM episode, I never thought to cross reference between the daytime and PM verions.

Right on cue, GSN skipped episode 137 on Thursday April 20. The 8 AM episode was 136, and the 8:30 episode was 138. I found a YT link to 137. Enjoy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf-EXrz8OcUThe questionable question is near the end, at the 18:00 mark. During the end credits you will hear the ironic message, "This program was edited for broadcast."

So the next skip likely will be 165.
I noticed that 182 is missing from my collection, but not in the skips guide, so I hope GSN gets to that one 8 weeks from now.

There's a promo of the "Match Game PM" episode with Valerie Bertinelli at www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhJjS4QY7dM. Looks like I was wrong about the seating order, seeing as Ed Asner is on the bottom row and not Nipsey Russell.

I've seen cases where the seating order changes in mid-week, or more accurately, from the morning tapings to the afternoon tapings. Maybe that is what happened there?

Could've possibly been labeled that way because Nipsey had previously been in that seat only once before. Geez, I promos like this don't make me want it that bad, but I really wanna see that week!

Actually, I never had any proof that Nipsey sat in the fifth seat that week. It was just an educated guess, as he had a lot more "MG" experience than Edward and he had sat in that seat just the week prior. I do remember him kind of grousing about sitting there, for some reason, so maybe the seat change for the next week was at his request. I do remember that he never sat in the fifth seat after that week with David Doyle, Debralee Scott, and Betty White.

Ep. 645 of MG76 was also skipped by BUZZR in November. There is a YT listing that is mislabeled as ep. 645, but it is really ep.644.
In our continuing series of "What happened on skipped episodes", champ Terry Donaff wins his second game, defeating Barbara Chrysler. We don't the final score, but he was leading 3-2 at the end of ep. 644. In the Bonus round, the champ matches for $100 in the Super Match, and also wins another $1,000 in the Head-to-Head match. A game begins at the end of the show, with Eleanor Foreman leading 3-0 in the middle of Round 2 as ep. 645 ends.
When the game continued on ep. 646, the champ scored four matches and won another game. Because he was awarded a match to "Foot" after having answered "Shoe", Eleanor Foreman is invited back on ep. 647 to play again, where she manages to win one game and $600.

Was there anything in 645 that might have warranted a skip from Buzzr?

The original post indicates "episode is damaged", I assume that still applies.
The implication is that there are no content issues with 645.

All I know is this episode has been skipped since at least as early as 2003. I don't know if GSN has ever aired it.

I wish Shout! Factory would put out a DVD edition of the show titled T'was alright in the 70's.
On it will be episode 19 and 376, just to name a few.

I am just now going through the BUZZR's MG76 episodes from November, and 652 was also skipped, in addition to the expected skip of 645.
Ep. 652 has been shown previously on GSN, most recently on April 16, 2014, according to my notes.
