0063D, 0064D, 0073D have never been on YouTube before, or even on the DVD for that matter.

I read people posting comments somewhere about episodes being skipped because of fur coats, food items involving meat, and prizes with materials made of animal products. According to a recently-released episode on Pluto, it showed Anitra holding a container of Kentucky Fried Chicken which was presented to a winner. Yesterday's GameTV airing - the December 9, 1982 episode - had Holly holding a full ham which was awarded to the winner of the first item up for bids.
So maybe the ban only applies to fur coats.

So maybe the ban only applies to fur coats. That is correct. It only applies to furs. I think it was established that there actually isn't a fur ban per se. Rather, it's a "Gentleman's Agreement".

Question for the panel, has TPIR channel reached the Bob and Rod era yet?

Question for the panel, has TPIR channel reached the Bob and Rod era yet? Save for one 1986 episodes, all the episodes seen so far are from 1972-73 or between Sep 1982-Oct 1985, all of which have Johnny O. on them. Next new batch of 1985-86 episodes would most likely have episodes with Gene W. Bob H. Rod or Rich J. announcing.

I can confirm that the Pluto TV classic TPIR channel has not reached the Rod Roddy era yet - with the exception of just one episode from April 1986. It's likely possible that, even with the next batch of Season 14 episodes they will likely still be in January 1986 (to the best of my knowledge, the January 20, 1986 episode with Super Ball played for three trips hasn't been blocked) wh3en the announcer auditions were still ongoing by the time the new batch is exhausted - assuming it's 50 episodes.
Rod didn't get named as permanent announcer until sometime in February 1986, if I read correctly.
I got a question regarding the summer 1986 reruns, for those of you who are old enough to remember - did the summer reruns that year cover only episodes with Rod Roddy and whatever announcers filled in after Johnny Olson's death? I do definitely know they reran the January 1986 episode with Super Ball played for three trips (Bob Hilton served as the announcer on that episode), and they definitely reran an episode from around Easter 1986 which NTV originally pre-empted (it had the "Back to Basics" showcase).

I seem to remember only Rod and guest announcer episodes being rerun in Summer 1986, including an episode with a Golden-Road win(pre 2/17/86) where a contestant won over $48K on that game alone and was the biggest winner in daytime TPIR history until the $54,772 win on 2/17/986. Xmas 1985 CBS showed reruns with Johnny announcing and no new Xmas episodes(no new Xmas 1987 episodes either)

Thank you all for your responses. I'll check back next month to see if and when it's time to record.

In the interim announcer period, Golden Road was played on 5913D, 5943D, 5964D and 5985D although Bump was in the lineup on 5913D. One of those four probably has that big $48k win. Barker Era is about 63 episodes away from 6001D the first of the Rod era taking into account episodes with Bump. This count may be fewer due to potential skips
Note that Rod is the interim announcer for some of the episodes in Dec 1985, Jan 1986 and presumably the first week of Feb 1986 (the timeline isn’t clear on that one)

Turns out the Valentine’s Day 1973 episode will be included. Soon to be determined is if they will show the one with Fred Baedeker playing Grocery Game or if it’s one of the episodes GSN had rerun but not Barker Era. The code for that one is either 0261D as stated on YT (not in the preliminary schedule but 0262D is), 0264D or 0272D

Looks like the episode with Fred won’t be seen on Barker Era after all. In good news, the debut of Range Game with the $50 rangefinder is now scheduled for Dec 14
Only two episodes for the month of March 1973: 0275D and 0292D. March 26 was a notable date for the debuts of Y&R and $10,000 Pyramid on CBS and TPIR’s first time change from the morning to the afternoon now followed by the other new game show to debut on that date, Hollywood’s Talking
