Looking forward to this. I figured it was only a matter of time before someone finally got the streaming rights to WoF and J! as it didn't make sense for almost 40 years of two legendary game shows to be sitting on the shelf collecting dust without them monetizing them somehow. Hoping to see some rare vintage episodes of both shows. While 80s and early 90s episodes would be great, I wouldn't even mind seeing some episodes from the early and mid-2000s mixed in as well (in particular, some Jackpot-era WoF would be kind of nice to see again). Heck, at this point in time, even those episodes would be considered vintage.

As of 12:25AM EST on 8/1, the channels don't seem to have launched on Pluto yet.

I knew Wheel wouldn't be classic.

I knew Wheel wouldn't be classic. I understand them wanting to focus on more recent episodes of Wheel, but I wish they would have at least included every season premiere, like they did with J! That at least would have given us a nice sampling of Pat and Vanna through time.

Looks like the Jeopardy ep listed as the "Series Premiere" in the On-Demand section looks to be a PILOT episode instead...

I knew it. It seems as if Pat only wants the more recent episodes to be offered. I am now starting to realize that Pat hates the much older episodes, as I read on the long-defunct GSN boards many, many years ago.
As for the absence of a Pluto TV channel launch so far today, it makes me wonder if it will only be an on-demand service with only choice episodes from Seasons 33 to 37 being offered?

I understand them not wanting to go too far back, but I don't see harm in airing just a few episodes (i.e. the season premiere of every syndicated season) from some of the older seasons. I understand that Sony and Pat want to act like the shopping era never existed, but that era ended in 1987. There is no reason they couldn't at least dig back at least 20 or so years. The essence of the show hasn't changed that much since the early 2000s, except for the addition of the million dollar wedge, prize puzzle, toss-up, etc.

I think they've removed S33, as it's not on the list anymore.

IIRC Sony only transfered seasons 6, 7, 10, 12, 13, and 14 to digibetacam when GSN was rerunning Wheel.
