Sorry about that. For some reason before when I clicked on it, it did that pilot episode of Concentration again. It's fine now, though.

Wink just gave us ANOTHER Las Vegas Gambit episode. It's from May 15th, 1981, which was the day after the last LVG episode I put on here earlier...

Always great to see more Gambit, Las Vegas or otherwise, though these episodes do sort of confirm for me that the show felt a bit hollow once it swapped the Gambit Board for the Big Numbers as its endgame. Even at 6-7 years of age, watching the show in 1981, I always felt this was a disappointment; not that I hated High Rollers or anything like that—far from it—but it really stuck out like a sore thumb. It also bugged me that exactly half of the cool slide-projector gameboard ceased to have any useful function once this change was made.

The latest from Wink's channel: A hitherto-unknown 2000 pilot for Pictionary, starring Graham Elwood ( Cram).

Not really "hitherto-unknown", as the intro (as well as the intro of an unsold Tribond pilot also hosted by Graham) was on John Ricci's website a long time ago. I think the site said these were GSN projects.

Here's the latest from Wink's Vault, the premiere of a game show called Majority Rules.

That's actually the debut episode of a show that aired in two markets during the first half of the 1996-97 season. There's at least two more episodes online, and at least three others circulating.

Sorry, didn't mean to rub you the wrong way with that comment. It's pretty understandable that a show which aired on just two stations for half a season wouldn't be known by most people, even with Marc Summers hosting. I myself didn't know about it until a few years ago.

Okay, Wink just sent us another pilot!
This pilot is for a game called Showdown, which did make it to air in 1974-1975 as THE BIG FALL DOWN SHOWDOWN, hosted both in the pilot, and the aired version, by Jim Peck.
There were two changes between pilot and final version, other than the title change obviously.
The first was the point payoff, which was a bit more randomized during the game then in the pilot.
The other was during the bonus round. In the pilot, if you "made your point" (matched your first roll), Jim would stop the clock, give you $250, and add 5 seconds to your time remaining. On the actual show, the clock didn't stop, but you would get 5 seconds for each match used in a final timed attempt. During the final chance, the point was removed, though.
By thew way, yes those stairs, which would haunt Jim at a later time, were there.
Enjoy and comment, folks!

It's a tad weird watching Jim go down those stairs and not fall. Lol.

Here's the 1989* Supermarket Sweep pilot, with the format and presentation being an interesting hybrid of the 1960s and 1990s styles alongside several elements unique to this episode (watch how the teams are picked, for instance): www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJGrSy1YzRc(*David Ruprecht says in his modern-day intro and close that it's from 1990, but the copyright date is 1989.)
