New PDF schedules are out. Effective Tuesday September 16th, we jump from episode #770 to #1301. The airdate is October 19, 1987 with Marcia Wallace and Michael Dorn.
Probably because episode #771 was the start of a previous lease. So we still have new pyramid.

Did anyone notice that yesterday's (Thursday 9/4) airing of 25K Pyramid showed the ending of the previous (Wednesday) episode? Wonder if that was a bad splice by GSN or if they came that way from the lease owners.

I think that is the current lease. Kind of like what they did with $100K. I think at a certain point they'll cycle back to the spring of 1985

So I'm guessing the 1987 era they just leased covers the last 2 or 3 months of the show to the end of the original run of $25,000 Pyramid (12/31/1987)?

I'm trying to reconcile the upcoming episodes of 25K with my episode guide. This week ended with the first 4 episodes of the Leslie Easterbrook, Harry Waters Jr. week (11/9-11/12/87). Next week has 2 episodes from the Alison La Placa, Tom Villard week (starting 11/24/87), and then jumps into the Adrienne Barbeau, Henry Polic II week (12/1/87). It looks like the entire week of 11/16-11/20 is skipped, but the episode numbers don't skip forward as much as the dates.

That's because Nov 16-20 1987 was a "Battle of the CBS Daytime Dramas" week, and I think there are issues surrounding some of the people taking part.
The plug for that week was cut off, noting the abrupt beginning of the segment.

Thanks. It's all coming into focus now. Also, my comments about skipped episodes are moot as it looks like I was looking at an old version of the pdf schedule.

I wonder what happened between then and now.

This is what happens when we jump to conclusions. It'll begin airing Friday Novemer 7 according to the PDF schedules.

Looks like on Thanksgiving, they start with the 1988 episodes. Maybe they've leased (just a guess) May-August 1985, and October 1987 to the finale. Based on recent leases, this might be it.

Here comes my seemingly monthly question regarding the schedule/episode guide. I see that this upcoming week has the week between Christmas and New Years 1987 (#1352-#1354, no #1355 since that would have been New Years Day). But while the next episode is in production number order (#1356), it's the start of the week of 4/4/1988 with Betty White and David Graf. According to my work-in-progress episode guide, there are 12 weeks of shows between #1354 and #1356. What gives?

Got it...the information for the 100K episodes from Jan-Mar 1988 somehow bled into my 25K listing...not sure if it was my doing or some other website that I got it from. Fixed.
