Okay, me really confused. I thought the skipped Love Week would have had the third version of the car lineup seen since the June 16, 1989 episode. But instead, I just saw that lineup. So because of this, I decided to temporarily take down one of the weeks I have listed in the guide with this lineup. This lineup of cars was used:
Honda CRX Si, Hyundai Sonata GLS, Ford Mustang, Mazda 929, Audi 80, Pontiac LeMans, Jeep Wrangler Islander, and Mitsubishi Mirage

Buddy Hackett made a cameo in today's 1PM EST 7/5/1989 episode. His appearance was mentioned in the Steve Ryan book, but I don't believe had surfaced on the internet until today.

It's possible the second Love Week had five special shows, and a normal one in the taping session.

We should be getting closer to the episode with Marc Breslow's birthday acknowledged.

I guess both of Becky's episodes with 561 and 562. If only both YouTube videos were still up. Unfortunately, they're not anymore.

Possibly, but somehow, I doubt it.
Thom is back due to an error, but I don't see him in any episode listings. Must have been during Spring 1989, an episode Buzzr skipped.
For circulating shows, next up is one of the Woodstock episodes.

He'll try to reupload for all of us ASAP or maybe Million Colors of Light, Chuck Donegan or even Jamie Locklin(aka Blanquepage).

We should be getting closer to the episode with Marc Breslow's birthday acknowledged. I would have guessed that this episode would have already been skipped during Love Week. Breslow's birthday is July 7th. Without applying any pre-emptions between June 9th and July 7th, that would match up with Love Week episode 548 airing on July 7th (or possibly 549 was expected to air on July 7?). This obviously is in conflict with the prior post indicating that Love Week (545-549) aired July 10-14, 1989.
So, to further speculate, perhaps there were multiple pre-emptions late in June/early in July that pushed Love Week to the week of the 10th?

Oh, July 7 was the VTR date for the Rick vs. Becky episode. The opening intro rebus reflected the VTR date of that episode, the air date was July 28, it was also the VTR session in which Scrabble had a minor set change from the pink tiles below the blue tiles to 4 blue tiles.

I do believe Super Password had a "five times and retire undefeated" policy, and $ale of the Century, during the Winner's Board era, contestants could stay on for 11 shows before retiring undefeated. Don't forget Scrabble from July 2, 1984 to September 26, 1986, even though they were straddled. You had the opportunity to win 10 Sprint Rounds before retiring undefeated. Same thing with the Bill Cullen Blockbusters from 1981 to the end of the run in 1982 (don't know about the Rafferty version). Cullen Blockbusters for the first month of the run in the Gold Run/Super Gold Run format allowed a player to play the bonus round 16 times. Late November 1980-August 1981 allowed a player to play the bonus round 10 times. The maximum amount that could be won in each format was $60K. In late August 1981, the amount of bonus rounds that could be played was raised from 10 to 20, and they brought back previous 10 time champions throughout the rest of the run to give them a chance to win 10 more times. Rafferty Blockbusters had a 10 match limit and Jeanne Pierce won 10 matches and $53K

The Summer 1990-Summer 1991 two-loss format, where each player played their first bonus round at 35(or 40 if they matched the Five bonus seconds in the maingame) seconds, did not have a five bonus round limit.

Ok, so you are saying that the "Rick vs. Becky" is the MB B-day episode, and it was taped on MB's birthday. That makes sense. I just watched MGHSH episode #161. George Gobel's b-day was celebrated, which would make the taping date 5/20/1984, even though the episode aired on 6/13/1984.
