There should have been either a $100 house minimum per round, or $50 per match in the bonus round for those who didn't win the car, to avoid a player who won a game with no prizes leaving empty handed(like High Rollers 1987 have $100 per game when no prizes were won, and the $200 minimum on Wheel in the 80s-90s) I think the parting gifts Alex had for the departing contestants who did not win anything would definitely count as something. I'm not sure what they were (any ex-CC-contestants here? If yes, can they enlighten us on the details of these "parting gifts"?).

From Dec 28 1987-Aug 30 1991, it was presumably the item plugged before the final commercial break. One contestant on the show posted his 1988 appearance on Facebook and commented he won the Conair hair products plugged before that break,

NYC Pyramid champions would have to have won $0 in the WC to leave with no winnings. $ale in 1983-84 through the WInner's Board would have had a few champions pick up nothing between the Fame Game and Instant Bargain and leave with "the cash in front of them"

For this flavor of Concentration, a player was put into more games in the original format than they did in the 2-Strike format. In the 2-Strike format, players could only be in a total of 6 games while in the original format, they could possibly be in a maximum of *10* games.

Unfortunately, I threw out those spreadsheet notes by accident. What kind of car did Gordon win on April 24, 1991? According to the notes you sent me, it was a Subaru Justy. There should be another Justy win this week (if it hasn't aired already), so I can at least pencil in the $ value of Gordon's Justy as being the same.
Frankly, we are fortunate that Alex provided the information about episode 1001 that he did in the beginning of 1002. Based on that, here's what we can conclude about 1001:
- In game 1, Debbie defeated Paul Gower, who earned his second strike and left with zero winnings. Debbie won at least $7,400 in prizes, played the car round with 45 seconds, but failed to win.
- In game 2, Gordon Nady (?) defeated Debbie, who earned her first strike. Gordon won a car in only 29 seconds (presumably a Justy) with either 35 or 40 seconds to start.
All the rest is unknown, except that, based on the pattern of opening rebuses, the opening rebus for 1001 is almost certainly the same as the opening rebus from 814.

In the Two Strikes 2.0 format on Classic Concentration, players could be in the game either until they won a car (no matter how many times it took; there was no limit - we know that Terri from 1034-1037 took at least six or seven and Chris from 1071-1074 took at least seven or eight; I think there may have been more during the month of May) or got two X's.

Based on the pattern of opening rebuses, the opening rebus from 1003 (which also opened 816) was almost certainly used in game play during BUZZR skipped episode 583.

Cindy Morgan from episodes #417-#421 of Press Your Luck is on now. I thought she looked familiar! #MayteeXCindy Anyways, all four of today's episodes are up now. It's just everything coming full circle, we got two contestants who are back due to errors made by the producers, and the husband of a former contestant. John Radke (from episodes 843-844 and 918-919) finally got his brand new car, a Daihatsu Charade (although I'm wondering - did the clock really go to zero before he called out his last selection?). And as I predicted previously, Bridgette from episode 885 is back! Though she has yet to win a car; she came really close today, not sure if tomorrow she can do it... As for the husband of the former contestant, that's the other John (the one with the glasses who succeeded his namesake in episode 1009 Game 2) who identified himself as the husband of Melissa from episodes 996-997.

Today's episodes are up. Bridgette's car win was another milestone for a contestant who was brought back due to an error. It was a win rightly deserved, just like that of John Radke before her. I liked Marjorie as host for a change. Since Alex passed away in 2020, I always had the suggestion that should CC ever return, they will need Bob Glouberman and Jackie (the two previous contestants from the final episode 1090) to return, each with a strike against them (as had been the case before the abrupt ending), and Bob keeping whatever he won (in episode 1090 game 2) to that point; Marjorie should become the new host; and Alex's now-33yo son Matthew should be the prize model. (What's your thoughts on that?) After Bridgette retired though, the contestants in her wake don't seem to be playing very well - at least as far as the car game was concerned. Dena, David, Stephanie, and Joe all were good at solving puzzles and all (some good quick solves there too), but they all utilized unusual patterns when playing the bonus round, and there were a few noticeable strikeouts; I have a feeling some of them may have been trying to play for the Wrangler, which as we all know was so coveted at the time. What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

Calling it right now: 2025 will be the year Buzzr finishes Classic Concentration, after seven years. How come u know ah? Has Buzzr got officially announced this^^ or not? Anyways, today's episodes are up. We can infer a few new things we haven't yet seen: - Aimee will be the returning champion on Buzzr's next fresh batch. Her ability to solve puzzles will determine how long she reigns as champion and also if she wins a car. It might more than likely be that she might get dethroned soon, given that she wasn't quite able to quicksolve the puzzle when she made a match after Joe gave a wrong guess (and a very give-away wrong guess too at that IMHO; Joe literally handed Aimee the game on a silver platter - for the record I was able to solve the puzzle at once when Joe guessed wrongly), and she waited until the bell rang before finally buzzing in when only two squares were left on the puzzle. - After Tom's loss in episode 1084 Game 1, we can infer that he didn't win a game, as Alex offers him "parting gifts backstage". And we know Carol already had one X. It's therefore possible that someone may have won Game 1 of Episode 1083 (handing Carol her first X) and then went on to win a car in Game 1's bonus round, leaving Tom to take their place in Game 2 to play against Carol. And if episode 1083's Game 2's bonus round was Carol's first, it's possible she may have won the 5 Bonus Car Seconds. - In episode 1085 before Ben plays his first bonus game, Alex mentions a "Leonard Lee" who won a car in 34 seconds recently. This Leonard Lee may well have been there between episodes 1075 and 1083; and given the last name, he sounds Asian, possibly Chinese or Korean. Either way, that's another possible candidate for what would have been the Tournament of Champions of 1991 which never happened. - We still have no clue as to when this episode (see here for the part link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSscMdQUfI8 ) originally aired. I wish I had the full episode, but @jordanar18 apparently did not want to upload the full episode for fear of copyright reasons, and they have gone totally quiet on YouTube. - We're just 15 episodes away (not counting the Mother's Day week tournament's five episodes) from 1036, which is the first episode I saw (and the first one I have in my collection). If Buzzr isn't going to be releasing episodes for awhile, the question is, have they said anything so far about upcoming schedules and what's gonna be on 'em?
