Ideally for the ultimate Barker Era channel to cover the bulk of Bob’s 35 year run as host, it would be set up similar to GSN’s old anthology rotation with each day dedicated to 24 episodes each of season 11-15 (dark hair era), 16-20 (early grey hair era), 21-25 (red carpet era) 26-30 (balloons and confetti on Big Doors era) and 31-35 (Hollywood and blue/purple/pink sets era) on weekdays with a block of episodes from the half hour era and a block of episodes from the first ten seasons on Sundays plus special programming events for the six 1986 specials, primetime episodes including the 2002 Salutes series and the Million Dollar Spectacular series. It would probably take more than a decade to complete, again this is only a speculation for now

I found that TPIR Barker Era also airs on ROKU TV. But get this..! It only breaks for THREE of the commercial breaks! It loops every 49 minutes, so it begins and ends whenever, not at the top of the hour, but I love the seriously reduced interruptions. I thought it was a PLUTO exclusive, but not any more! More Barker, less bite!

Fun story, when I was recently on vacation, the TV had the Barker Era channel on Roku and I stumbled upon the Oct 18, 1984 episode. Clips of contestant Douglas appearance on the show was uploaded to Youtube back in December 2008 back when footage from season 13 was still relatively rare to find

With the success of my season 1 compendium (over 300 page views), one for season 14 is coming soon to alleviate confusion over what episodes are slated for Barker Era from that season based on content ID claims from Youtube: wordpress.com/post/rewindiumblog.wordpress.com/1303

Link is active on my end, plus I approved your comment though it didn’t have much context to it

So, I learned that there were going to be fresh Season 14 episodes of TPIR early this year. Have they started airing yet, or was it a case of miscommunication?

No, not yet - although they have confirmed that the episodes are coming this year. But if I'm gonna guess, it's probably in this quarter or next.

While I'm eager to see more of Season 14 episodes coming this year, I still wonder where would we have been had they stuck to the original way of releasing episodes (airing many at once instead of two a night).
Last year, we got one 1986 episode in January. However, as of now, that's still the only Rod Roddy episode we have in the rotation.
One could imagine we would've inched very close to episodes with Bob having gray hair, or sometime early in Season 15.

According to a Facebook friend of mine who has the Samsung TV Plus schedule in advance, the Season 14 episodes that were supposed to air last year (October 1985-January 1986) are finally coming on the feeds with more commercials (like Pluto) from Tuesday.
Starting with episode 5841D (10/14/1985).

Adding to that, no episodes with Bump seem to be affected this time around though they are skipping 5881D (it had a notable Deluxe Dice Game playing)

There's probably gonna be a special event they're saving #5881D for.

Well, it looks like we're getting a false alarm here - just heard from snowpeck that the Samsung guide is now showing 4682D at 6am ET tomorrow instead.
Still, it would be odd if the Season 1 episodes aren't added to the rotation on the hour feeds either.
