It was probably a mistake from the start.

And just as I thought, they did indeed go back to 4682D today with no new Season 14 episodes nor Season 1 episodes added to the mix despite promising for the latter that Season 1 episodes would be added to the rotation.
Even I was hesitant to say new episodes were coming without an official social media announcement, but we were let down again that the new batch was pulled from rotation.

False alarm indeed. And yes the last time new episodes (5742 to 5835) were added last March and April, Barker Era did announce that on their social pages
I had the blog updated through to Thanksgiving 1985 in anticipation but I’m going to leave it as is as the episodes are known to have content ID claims. Additionally, some excerpts from the Robair tape are those of upcoming episodes (the Clock Game playing from 5843 for example)

Wait a minute... what the? I just turned to the channel and somehow they are showing Season 1 episodes right now.
This is odd considering they just reverted back to 4682D a few days ago. The question now is will there be more episodes dropped from the rotation after these additions.

On my end (Plex) it is episodes from season 11 (episode 4774 at the time of this post)

On my end (Plex) it is episodes from season 11 (episode 4774 at the time of this post) Doesn't seem like these episodes are coming to the shorter feeds (Roku, Plex...) yet. And there's one more jump to 4682D after these episodes end at 1pm ET tomorrow. Around mid-February (when the rotation finishes) will be our guess if the new Season 14 episodes are added for real.

If GSN kept the rights and aired this upcoming batch keeping the bump episodes in GSN would've aired em June 25 2001 to August 31 2001

Not necessarily when you account for special events like the 25th anniversary marathons of Dawson Feud and The Gong Show that were done that summer and then the Deal-a-thon preview event in late August leading up to Let’s Make a Deal joining GSN. Those would had likely preempted TPIR for the day if it was still on GSN’s schedule at that time

Those would had likely preempted TPIR for the day if it was still on GSN’s schedule at that time And it's also possible that GSN could have switched TPIR's schedule again in terms of what episodes to show had they kept the rights, which could have meant more recent seasons - episodes from the 90s, or doing something else.

But that was if they kept the rights kept a weekday time slot and went in order with no skipping.

The Season 1 drop from last year will be added on the short schedule feeds from late night Sunday (2/11), according to the Roku guide.
Meanwhile, Pluto TV and other hour schedule feeds are airing early 1984 episodes at the moment. It is not known whether they'll add the new Season 14 episodes by the end of the current cycle yet, but it should also be noted that the rotation jumped to 4682D again after 0465D last month. Looks like they're arranging the episodes in the rotation in chronological order - first the Season 1 episodes, then 4682D-5835D, and hopefully after 5835D, they'll move forward with the new Season 14 batch (5841D-5944D) and put 6083D at the end of the rotation.

ICYDK, the On-Demand episodes on Tubi are now gone. So do Fremantle game shows on there (Match Game, Family Feud, Supermarket Sweep...).
